I have managed to finally get this soft book/zine together. It’s 50 pages of photos of the wonderful Forest of Dean. It has a few pages of writing amongst the photos too. A short post about photography in the forest of dean after the storm.

Its November in The Forest Of Dean and Autumn this year seems to be in its most colurful in years. Everywhere I look there are yellows and oranges of all shades. The beech leaves in particular this year are bright yellow as though calling out for attention. They have attracted my attention, my undivided attention....No, that is not wholly true. Its all to easy to think that there is an amazing picture and composition behind every tree but in fact it takes time and patients to search find and explore. When potential areas are found then revisits are required to capture those compositions under the corect condition whatever that may be. It could be early morning sun or fog and mist. Its could be snow or rain or windy conditions. The right combination doesnt happen everyday so time is our freind. Not forgeting differe
